Our PTFA is a very active organisation. We are a registered with the Charity Commission and are members of PTA-UK.
We have an on-going programme of fun events....

Adult only events, for example: Quiz and Chips Nights, Summer Party, Fashion Show.

Child only events, for example: themed discos.

Family events, for example; Fairs, Easter Egg Hunt, the famous 'Duck Race' and #MEDFEST - a music and family festival.

We raise approximately £20,000 each year for the school. The money is spent on a variety of projects and resources. Large projects include playground equipment and laptop 'banks'. Medium sized projects include support for themed weeks (maths, science, igniting writing), replenishing the stock of reading scheme and library books, and on- going support for the gardening club/allotment project. Smaller scale items include lollies for sports day, Christmas parties for all classes and a leavers' party for year 6 children.

We also run the Meadows 100 Club. This is a monthly lottery and the money from this provides additional teaching assistant hours for specialised group work, which makes a difference to all of our children.
